BLOCK MIX — Privacy Policy

BLOCK MIX does not collect personal data, does not show ads, and does not track you. There is no account requirement, no analytics SDK, and no advertising identifier. The game is playable entirely offline.

This policy describes the app published by ALARIAN LLC (“Alarian Studios”, “we”) under the App Store identifier com.alarianstudios.blockicegame.

1. Data stored on your device

BLOCK MIX stores a small amount of data locally using the operating system’s standard preferences storage (UserDefaults on iOS). In BLOCK MIX 1.0 this data never leaves your device: this release does not build the online leaderboard client at all. The last two rows of the table below describe a future release in which the leaderboard is enabled.

An anonymous player token (not in 1.0)	Not created in BLOCK MIX 1.0. It is created in a release where the leaderboard is enabled: a random value issued by our server, not derived from your device, your Apple ID, or any identifier about you.
A pending-submission queue (not in 1.0)	Not created in BLOCK MIX 1.0. In a release where the leaderboard is enabled, a score that cannot be sent while you are offline waits here until the connection returns.

Deleting the app removes all of this data.

2. The online leaderboard

The online leaderboard is switched off in BLOCK MIX 1.0. The app does not build the leaderboard client at all; the leaderboard screen says so plainly and the game sends nothing. The rest of this section describes what would be sent in a future release where the leaderboard is enabled — not what is sent today.

When the leaderboard is in use, the following is sent to our server and nothing else:

Your score and the list of moves of the game that produced it — the moves are replayed on the server to verify the score is genuine. A move is three numbers: which tray piece, which row, which column.
A display name, if you choose one. You may play without choosing a name; the system then assigns a generic one such as Player123456.
The anonymous player token from section 1, so repeated games are recognised as yours.

We do not receive your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, device identifier, advertising identifier, or any information about other apps. We do not ask for them and the app does not have the permissions to read them.

Your IP address is visible to our hosting provider as part of any ordinary internet request. It is used to operate and protect the service (for example, rate limiting) and is not used to build a profile of you.

3. What we never do

No advertising, and no advertising networks.
No tracking across apps or websites. The app declares NSPrivacyTracking = false in its privacy manifest.
No analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
No selling or sharing of data with data brokers.
No purchases, and no payment information of any kind.

4. Third parties

BLOCK MIX is built with Flutter and uses two open-source packages that touch data: shared_preferences (local storage, section 1) and http (the leaderboard requests, section 2). Neither sends data anywhere on its own. There are no other third-party SDKs in the app.

5. Children

BLOCK MIX is suitable for all ages and is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you choose a display name for the leaderboard, please do not use a real name.

6. Your choices

Play fully offline — simply do not use the leaderboard. Nothing is sent.
Change or remove your display name — from Settings inside the app, where the leaderboard is available.
Delete everything — deleting the app removes all local data. To have a leaderboard entry and its token removed from our server, follow the steps on the Account and Data Deletion page, which states exactly what is deleted and how long it takes.

7. Data retention

Leaderboard entries are kept for as long as the leaderboard period they belong to is displayed, and are deleted on request. Local data on your device is kept until you delete the app.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will update the effective date above and describe the change here.
